New Tudor-Era Painting Uncovered!
It’s always really exciting to read about a new art find. For me, I am especially interested in anything Tudor or Elizabethan-England related because that art work usually influenced or was influenced by some literary or dramatic work at the time. Earlier this year, workers in England uncovered just such a thing: a painting dating back to the late 16th Century England.

The property being
refurbished is on Broadway in Shifnal and the painting lay hidden behind a new
wall. It is thought to have been hidden for over a hundred years!
Roughly 7ft by 8ft, it
is apparently only one of 18 examples of the Shropshire Scroll known and one of
the rarest. Other scrolls appear only in one or two colors and are not as
dramatic as this one.
What would you do if you found an expensive art work hidden in your home? Does the notion of finder's keepers still apply?

I like your style, the fact that your site is a little bit different makes it so interesting, I get fed up of seeing same-old-same-old all of the time. I've just stumbled this page for you

Thanks so much! That was so nice to hear--it's comforting to know that someone other than mother reads this!
